Godzilla 2014 School Evacuation Photos

Here are some cool Godzilla 2014 set pics showing a Japanese school evacuation. We see students running as a monster presumably attacks. These are familiar scenes to Godzilla fans. Here's the original description from  YVRShoots

Godzilla crew remade Steveston's Japanese Cultural Centre/Martial Arts Centre into the JanJira International School for filming on Wednesday, adding fake pink cherry blossoms to the east side of the trees outside and parking a prop Japanese school bus and giant blue screen on the west side where the camera would focus. Dozens of child extras dressed in school uniforms practiced running out of the centre into the bus or towards Moncton Street. And had fun doing it. It's not clear where the monster is in this scene because it's unlikely they would run towards it.

Godzilla 2014 Japanese Fishing Village Photos

Here are some great Godzilla 2014 set photos, a  Japanese fishing village contaminated by radiation after Godzilla's rampage. These photos make it clear that the new Godzilla is indeed a nuclear monster and contamination threat.

Godzilla 2014 "San Fransisco" Set Photos

Here are a couple of Godzilla 2014 set photos from small fishing village Stevenston, British Columbia which was partially turned into San Fransisco for the shoot. The photos themselves are not so interesting but they do give us a few clues about the story. There are few details on the script, but we know part of the movie takes place in Japan and now we know also in San Fransisco. Stay tuned for more.

Godzilla 2014 Airport Picture

Here's a Godzilla 2014 set photo from Scified's Godzilla site. It shows passengers stranded at the airport and a news report on the monitor that says "Earthquake Rocks Eastern Japan". The article says Godzilla's silhouette is barely visible, but I couldn't see anything. Anyway here goes:

Godzilla from Legendary Pictures and director Gareth Edwards will stomp into theaters May 16, 2014.

Godzilla 2014 FEMA Relief Set Photo

Here's a photo from the Godzilla 2014 set showing a FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) camp taking care of the injured and homeless after Godzilla's attack. Director Gareth Edwards has promised us a "grounded and realistic" Godzilla that is a dark force of naure. Expect to see lots of aftermath images like this. It reminds me of the hospital and school prayer scenes from the original 1954 Godzilla film. Watch for more set photos.

Be Prepared

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Bryan Cranston on Set for Godzilla 2014

Hreome great pics of Aaron Taylor-Johnson And Bryan Cranston spotted in character on the set of the new Legendary Pictures Godzilla 2014 reboot directed by Gareth Edwards. We know that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is playing the lead as a soldier (who incidentally is rumored to be joining the next Avengers movie as Quicksilver) and Bryan Cranston is his stepfather. We see the two here at a Japanese village viewing the destruction raught by Godzilla or some other kaiju.

Notice the duct tape around their wrists and ankles? I guess that is some sort of protection against radiation from Godzilla. What do you think? We know that at least part of the story takes place in Japan and it's a modern setting. These pics come from Comic Book Movie, go there to read the full article. Godzilla will be realeased May 16, 2014.

Godzilla stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. Gareth Edwards is directing the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham. Slated to open on May 16, 2014, the film is expected to be presented in 3D.
